Smartwork tricks to pass TCS Digital Capability Assessment
Hey Hi TCS Ninja guys,
This year TCS has announced a new programme “Wings1 Digital Capability Assessment Jan 2021”. In simple words, on successful completion of this assessment you will get promotion and compensation benefits.
Assessment will conduct on 27th /28th Jan 2021 . Assessment includes questions on Verbal, Numerical, Reasoning abilities, and advanced coding. It means your quantitative and coding ability will be judged.

Oooo…God,,Once again I have to deal with quant part. Since last 1–2 years I never solve /practice quant questions. I don’t remember shortcut tricks and formulas . Coding…??? What they will ask ?? ? Data structure?? Advanced data structure??
My dream is either switch the organization or get salary increment in TCS itself. In both the situation you have to study ,upgrade and update yourself.
Just 1 month left for the assessment. I want hike and promotion. For this I have to successfully pass the assessment means I have to revise all the concepts that I learned during college days .Parallely I have to work for office as well . How do I manage both office work and preparations?.

- How should I prepare for Quantitative aptitude section?
Guys, you also know very well, lot of concepts and topics comes under this section . Instead of doing everything do something but , whatever you are doing do it perfect and clear all your basic concepts. I am suggesting you to do the following topics and solve atleast 5 hard level questions.
1.Time and Work
2.Time and Distances (Problems on trains, boats and stream)
3. Percentage
4.Profit and loss
5.Probability.
6.Permutations and Combinations (P&C).

2 . How should I prepare for coding section?
This is most important section to qualify for the interview and most of the associates not clear the cutoff criteria for this section. Even you can’t predict which type of problem statement will be asked for 1 hour test. So its better go through some basic problem solving skill so that this will help you to solve any type of coding question.
Solve atleast 10 different types of coding questions for following topics.
(Do coding practice in any one programming language.)
- Arrays
- String manipulation
- Data structure(Linked List, Stack, Queue, HashedMap, List)

In the assessment if you are not able to pass all the testcases then try to pass some of the testcases by using if…else conditions, for..each loop, while loop (Do smartwork).
3. How should I manage office work and preparations for assessment?
Dear, you also know why you are writing this assessment (to get salary hike-equivalent to Digital Cadre). “Kuch pane ke liye kuch khona padta hai” , so don’t waste time ,start to do preparation just now.
Pick aptitude questions, coding problems and solve it as like solving puzzle (you don’t know anything but atleast try to think in different ways how to approach to the required solution).
Always say: “I can do it”.
Always ask question yourself: “WHY?” in all the situations and definitely you will get answer for this question “WHY?”.
I know its difficult to manage both office work , follow deadlines but atleast take out some time for this assessment and “Do smartwork not hardwork”.

You will directly promoted to job designation “System Engineer” , job level “C1” and obviously salary hike.(You will be recognize as “TCS Digital Cadre”)
